Just wanted to send along my gratitude to y'all for the amazing standing rib roast we had for Christmas. Not only was it
beautiful, but it was an amazing cut of meat and the quality was better than any of us have ever had even from some
pretty fancy restaurants. At one point I noticed my mother-in-law cutting hers with her fork, honestly. I've had goose for
Christmas dinners for 40+ years, but this was an amazing departure from that tradition and probably one that we might
adopt moving forward. I've also cooked a lot of beef in my days as a broil chef and back-yard grill enthusiast. But I have to
say that our Christmas dinner was the best beef entrée I've ever prepared and it all started with the high quality of the
meat itself.
It's great to have J&J's as an option here in our area and I consider myself very fortunate to have access to your advice
and expertise.

We just had the opportunity to "sample" some fillets that were
cut from a tenderloin that we purchased. I can honestly say that the
filets were some of the finest, if not THE finest, I have ever had. Jeff
explained to us every aspects of superior beef; and how to prepare the
steaks. We have recommended the Butcher store to several people in hopes

Each year we leave our northern home to spend another winter in Pawleys
Island. When we arrive here, the first stop is to visit J & J's Butcher
Shop. We have tried many of their meats: a variety of steaks, pork chops
and roasts, lamb, hamburger and meatloaf. We have never been
disappointed in the taste or quality of their meat. Jeff is always happy to share
some good advice and specials in their case. Take a few minutes to search out
and find them, it is well worth it!
